| Resumen : | This research focused on the search for those psychological effects that occur in the military derived from the development of operations that transcend the death of a human being as part of the constitutional compliance of Colombia. The population that was part of this study corresponds to the military of the Special Energy and Road Battalion No. 15 of Puerto Gaitán Meta. This research was carried out through a mixed-cut study in order to have a broader and deeper perspective of the phenomenon under study. The main objective is to identify the consequences that occur at the psychological level in the military. To this end, the research question is the following: What are the psychological effects derived from the development of operations that transcend the death of a human being as part of the constitutional compliance of Colombia, in the military of the municipality of Puerto Gaitán of the Special Energy and Road Battalion Number 15? The research question is answered through the application of qualitative instruments such as a semi-structured interview and participant observation, and from the quantitative section the application of the Davidson Trauma Scale (DTS). Through the application and interpretation of these evaluation techniques and instruments, the question was answered in which different psychological effects were identified in the military as a result of a traumatic event or situation experienced in the development of military operations, affecting in its different adjustment areas.The research question is answered through the application of qualitative instruments such as a semi-structured interview and participant observation, and from the quantitative section the application of the Davidson Trauma Scale (DTS). | Descripción : | La presente investigación se centró en la búsqueda de aquellos efectos psicológicos que se presentan en los militares derivados en el desarrollo de operaciones que trascienden en el fallecimiento de un ser humano como parte del cumplimiento constitucional de Colombia. La población que hizo parte de este estudio corresponde a los militares del Batallón Especial Energético y Vial N°15 de Puerto Gaitán Meta. Esta investigación se realizó mediante un estudio de corte mixto con el fin de tener una perspectiva más amplia y profunda del fenómeno que se estudia. El objetivo principal es identificar las consecuencias que se presentan a nivel psicológico en los militares. Con este fin la pregunta de investigación es la siguiente: ¿Cuáles son los efectos a nivel psicológico derivados en el desarrollo de operaciones que trascienden en el fallecimiento de un ser humano como parte del cumplimiento constitucional de Colombia, en los militares del municipio de Puerto Gaitán del Batallón Especial Energético y Vial Número 15? La pregunta de investigación se responde mediante la aplicación de instrumentos cualitativos como una entrevista semiestructurada y una observación participante, y desde el corte cuantitativo la aplicación de la Escala de Trauma de Davidson (DTS). Por medio de la aplicación e interpretación de estas técnicas e instrumentos de evaluación se dio respuesta a la pregunta en donde se identificaron diferentes efectos psicológicos en los militares a raíz de un evento o situación traumática vivida en el desarrollo de operaciones militares, afectando en sus distintas áreas de ajuste. |
