Abstract

The business practice as resident assistant in the execution of the project of improvement in flexible pavement of the road that communicates the villages of El Triunfo and La Paz in the municipality of Arauquita, is carried out with the purpose of supporting, through the work and the application of the knowledge acquired as a civil engineer in training, the improvement of the problems caused in the intervened tertiary roads by their poor condition. Therefore, with the application of theories about the pavement, its structure and characterization; geotechnical studies and their function, as well as the correct performance of the tasks that correspond to the resident engineer's assistant, it is intended to contribute to the proper development of the work and obtain the necessary experience about the administrative and legal side of the contracting with the State and the familiarization with equipment, machinery and procedures for the start, development, completion and delivery of work. Thus satisfactorily completing the training as a civil engineer.
