Abstract

In the development of this project, the internship of a business nature was carried out under the tutorship of the agronomist Carlos Andrés Rojas Leal, support was provided to guide and direct the different tasks that the productive systems entail. in this case, pig and cattle production in the company ENGINEERING FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMEMENTAL SOIL.S.A. S, located in the municipality of Pamplonita, Vereda Llano Grande, taking into account that livestock production systems are very important since it is sometimes the only option for daily livelihood of small and medium producers. For the progress of this project, the foundations of Good Pork Practices (BBP) and Good Livestock Practices (BPG) were focused, taking into account principles of biosafety, proper management of water, medicines, food, facilities, records, phytosanitary management, welfare animal and human talent. Based on studies, it is shown that the accompaniment and direction is essential for the sustainable development of livestock activities, since these allow a comprehensive accompaniment to face the technological and academic lack of rural communities and producers. Therefore, the use of formats and records was implemented, with technical management protocols focused on nutritional, reproductive and health aspects in order to contribute to the increase in the economic yields of the productive unit.
