Abstract

The present project proposes to strengthen the interpretation through the use of the media in the opinion column, based on the informative and interpretive genres in the press (opinion column) of Manuel Alcántara, who establishes basic principles to interpret and know the structure of opinion using information and communication topics that help to develop the competencies needed to interpret the appropriate arguments and images within an opinion column. This is why the didactic strategy by which the project is developed, consists of applying and knowing the media within the journalistic genre as is the opinion column in order to produce and get to interpret the information we know with the information or writings that we created in order to encourage the habit of interpreting the information we take from different sources of information to create our own writings accompanied by images that merge and propose a clear interpretation of our themes. In this way, the curricular axis of communication media and other symbolic systems is improved, making students acquire competent quality within the interpretation in the media, thus reducing problematic situations presented in the curricular axis
