Método Montessori aplicado a la educación superior.

Abstract

Hereunder, it will be observed the developt of a project of investigation wich aim is to modernize the higher education in the University of Pamplona and the country. This study was carried out with an approximate of 37 participants, among them students and teachers, who experienced first-hand an approach to a more comprehensive and inclusive education model with the different mental processes that each human being handles. Its theoretical support is mainly found in the works carried out by Maria Montessori in the so-called children's houses, although it also delves into main topics such as educational psychology and education. The research is based on a qualitative perspective, in which, to obtain the necessary information, the triangulation of data collection methods is used, using focus group meetings and semi-structured interviews. In the same way, the observation was carried out by the researcher during the realization of the Montessori classes, to evaluate the behavior of students and teachers in the classroom. Finally, to analyze the information, the data are separated into two units of analysis, which are the cohesion to the method currently taught and the cohesion to the Montessori method, which yielded positive results for the application of the method in the future.
