Coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) disease is an ongoing global pandemic caused by "coronavirus 2 severe acute respiratory syndrome" (SARS-CoV-2), which was first isolated in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Common symptoms include fever, cough, fatigue, dyspnea, and hypogeusia / hyposmia. Among the extrapulmonary signs associated with COVID-19, dermatological manifestations have been increasingly reported in the context of the pandemic and in patients with a history of infection by this new pathogen. The polymorphic nature of the skin manifestations associated with COVID-19 has led to multiple classifications in the academic setting, typically distinguishing six main clinical patterns: (i) urticarial rash, (ii) confluent erythematous / maculopapular / morbilliform rash, (iii) papulovesicular rash, (iv) chilblain-like acral pattern, (v) livedo reticularis / racemosa pattern, (vi) purpuric "vasculitic" pattern. In addition to these manifestations, the pandemic has also contributed to a significant increase in other dermatological conditions that must be taken into account by health personnel.es_CO
