In the present work, the study of coherent elastic neutrino nucleus scattering (CEνNS) was carried out to investigate how sensitive this process is to the oscillation parameters (sin2 2θ, Δm2) of light sterile neutrinos, i.e., with a mass scale of the order of ∼ 1eV . Reactor antineutrinos were used in this analysis, since they are in the low-energy regime ([2, 8] MeV ). The calculation of the oscillation probability for neutrinos in vacuum in the two and three flavour paradigm was performed, a review of the phenomenology of oscillations at short distances was made, a code was developed in Wolfram Mathematica to obtain the differential effective cross section of CEνNS for subsequent use in the development of a Python program which allowed the calculation of the number of events that can occur in a certain energy range, These data were used to perform a statistical analysis χ2 to obtain the sensitivity of the CONUS experiment to measure a light sterile neutrino, where finally, constraints on the oscillation parameters were obtained.es_CO
