Abstract

In the present investigative internship work, it focuses on the diagnosis of the existing infrastructure in the Home of Passage Corponor, where the ocelots (Leopardus pardalis) are housed, taking into account important factors for their animal welfare, the factors that condition their life in captivity and their possible release or relocation to zoos. Therefore, the nutritional management plan is adjusted with various alternatives, having as a variable its weight in captivity, a plan of sensory stimuli is formulated that covers everything that has to do with stress, discomfort that offers excitement, entertainment and relaxation. At the end of the investigation, a change in behavior is observed in the ocelots, regarding their adaptation to the established enrichments, taking into account that not all of them come from the same place, nor under the same conditions, each of them demonstrated progress and improvement. in your well-being. Likewise, daily feeding activities, cleaning of cages, setting in the confinements, adaptation of spaces, support in various areas and training of wildlife were carried out.
