Abstract

This work explores the relationship between dream experience, the perception of reality from a viewpoint affected by this, and the construction of reality from a phenomenological and artistically creative perspective. Drawing from personal experiences linked to the “abnormal,” it reflects on how social norms, taboo, and the pathologization of certain experiences produce a sense of emotional nonexistence and fragmentation of the subject. The project proposes a research–creation process that uses multimedia installation—bringing together illustration, animation, sound, sculpture, and performance—as a means to translate these experiences into a sensitive language. Through art, it seeks to question the boundaries between the real and the non-visible, problematize the categories that define normality, and open a space where difference can be felt, represented, and take shape.
