| dc.description | En el presente trabajo se describe el caso clínico de una canina hembra de 9 años, raza Pinscher, la cual se presentó a la clínica veterinaria Ocaña el día 23 de abril del 2024. La propietaria reportó que desde hace 15 días no comía bien, presentaba orina con sangre, dificultad para la orinar y heces con sangre. Igualmente nos comentó que su dieta es mixta con un alto porcentaje de comida casera y poco concentrado balanceado, dentro de su historial médico reporta que ha sido tratada contra hemoparasitos (Ehrlichia canis). Una vez registrados los datos se realizó un examen físico general y se optó por realizar un ultrasonido dirigido a sistema genitourinario y hemoleucograma. En base a los resultados emitidos por Minnesota Urolith Center, se diagnosticó obstrucción urinaria por urocistolitos y uretrolitos de oxalatos de calcio. El día 24 de abril 2024 ingreso al quirófano para realizar cistotomía, posterior a la recuperación postquirúrgica se recomendó dieta amigable con el sistema urinario y de esta forma proporcionarle una mejor condición de vida a la paciente. | es_CO |
| dc.description.abstract | This paper describes the clinical case of a 9-year-old female Pinscher canine that presented at the veterinary clinic in Ocaña on April 23, 2024. The owner reported that since 15 days ago she was not eating well, had bloody urine, difficulty urinating and bloody stools. She also told us that her diet is mixed with a high percentage of homemade food and little balanced concentrate, and in her medical history she reports that she has been treated against hemoparasites (Ehrlichia canis). Once the data were recorded, a general physical examination was performed and it was decided to perform an ultrasound examination of the genitourinary system and a hemoleukogram. Based on the results issued by the Minnesota Urolith Center, a diagnosis of urinary obstruction by urocystoliths and calcium oxalate urethrocytes was made. On April 24, 2024 she was admitted to the operating room for cystotomy, after post-surgical recovery a diet favorable to the urinary system was recommended to provide a better living condition for the patient. | es_CO |
