Abstract

The University of Pamplona is a public institution, it is located in the city of Pamplona, Norte de Santander, with a high recognition and quality accreditation, occupying an important role in the disciplines of knowledge at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, in the modalities face-to-face, and at a distance, continuously improving its management. The purpose of this project is the design of the Environmental Management System of the University of Pamplona, taking into account the NTC ISO 14001:2015 standard, which will help the institution to comply with the requirements established by this standard, contributing to the University a culture and approach of continuous improvement. A diagnosis will be made through diagnostic tools, in order to understand and understand the state in which the university is facing the documentation of the requirements demanded by the norm. The documentary structure will be made for each of the items of the standard, based on the diagnosis to design the documents that the company does not have, thus leaving the missing documentation to comply with the standard, finally, the plan of action in order to leave traceability for the implementation of the Environmental Management System.
