Incidencia del Arte en el fortalecimiento de las competencias ciudadanas de los estudiantes del 5to grado del Colegio Integrado Simón Bolívar Sede San Martin.

Abstract

The work named as" Incidence of the Art in the strengthening of the Citizenship Competences of the students of the 5th grade of the Colegio Integrado Simón Bolívar headquarters San Martin." Cúcuta, Norte de Santander. The lack of knowledge of citizenship competencies for social development in the classroom was found as a problem. As a result of the isolation during the pandemic. Therefore, this proposal is proposed through the arts to make learning more effective. It is developed with a qualitative approach and participatory action research methodology. The proposal CITIZEN ARTISTS was implemented and three activities were developed (portrait my environment, valuing our similarities and differences, know the citizenship competencies) for each one artistic activities such as painting, theater, singing, poetry, writing, improvisation were taken into account. The data collection instruments were the observation guide and the semi-structured interview. The key informants were the students of the 5.01 course, a total of 37 boys and girls between 10 and 12 years of age. At the end of the activities it was possible to conclude that: the group was totally disconnected from many attitudes and skills that frame citizenship competencies. Disrespectful, intolerant, ill-mannered, among other things. The activities were useful for them to get to know the people around them, with tastes and preferences. Respect that even if they were not equal, they have an important value at school or in the family. Thinking differently does not make them worthy of social rejection. That they should not attack when someone disagrees with what they think. During the activities they were kinder, more friendly, and they were able to load themselves with values that although they knew they did not practice them. The elaboration and development of the proposal was pertinent since it allowed the improvement of citizenship competencies in the students.
