Abstract

Cúcuta Deportivo is a professional team of Colombian soccer, representative of the northern capital of the country and its inhabitants. It dates its birth from the year 1924 when in the country the boom was lived by this sport and two years later the equipment was made known abroad. In 2006, he was crowned champion for the first time in the Colombian league, filling the city with pride, giving economic, socio-cultural and sports gains. In 2007 he participated in the Copa Libertadores where he occupied the fourth place defeating great international teams, representing us abroad and taking the good name of our city as a sports entity. Currently participates in the second division looking for the promotion for the year 2019 with an excellent campaign in which he achieved the record of 22 undefeated dates that positioned him in the first place of the table, filling with pride the fans who dream of seeing their team in the first division. The initiative of this Cúcuta Deportivo degree project: Beyond 90 minutes is to recall the trajectory and history that the red-and-black club has gone through and the sociocultural aspects that have given the city and its inhabitants becoming a sports heritage of the region as well as an example for future generations who see sport as a tool for social change.
