Abstract

This research aims to contribute to the analysis of communication as a conflict resolution strategy in the family, woman and childhood program of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute of the municipality of Los Patios Norte de Santander. In this way, the research question is as follows: Does communication influence strategy in the resolution of conflicts in the family, woman and childhood program of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute? From this it is considered pertinent to comply with each established objective, carrying out the application of qualitative research techniques through the semi-structured interview, discussion groups and non-participant observation, which allow obtaining information for further analysis and interpretation. , consecutively a theoretical section is structured approving the construction of antecedents, theories and concepts, which is divided into three chapters: the first chapter seeks to explore the representation of the conflict, the next chapter refers to communication, and the third inquires about Communication as a conflict resolution strategy, the above is done with the intention of generating coherence during the investigation. On the other hand, it should be noted that the present monograph was made based on a phenomenological design, in the same way it is possible to determine four moments during the realization of the research: initially the approach and formulation of said problem is established, allowing to identify and describe the object of study. The second moment is carried out a theoretical revision to clarify the state of the art with national, regional and international investigations that are related to the present investigation, likewise the theories are classified with their respective authors providing validity. In the third moment, the methodological design established during the investigation is evidenced and in turn the implementation of the data collection techniques. Finally, in the fourth moment, the results obtained are analyzed and interpreted through the semi-structured interview, discussion group and non-participant observation.
