Reconstrucción de la Memoria Visual entorno al patrimonio Cultural de la Ciudad de Pamplona.

Abstract

The study and analysis of documentary photography (photographic files) means for those who implement it, a tool of apprehension capable of informing, remembering and transforming the events of a population from the reconstruction of visual memory; its use in addition to communicating and illustrating what happened, carries with it a history that documents the historical events of a certain population and generally most individuals do not know. But through what iconographic resources, both contextual and content, is it possible to carry out an analysis of the image and from the inquiry, to create the visual memory of that type of latent visual message? In order to answer this question, the objective is to recover historical and documentary photography as a visual memory around the architectural heritage and historical bastion of the city of Pamplona. Its study of reading, interpreting and meaning the image is based on the following researches: (Barthes, 1986) Analysis of the image, (Habermas, 1976) Reconstruction, (Vilches, 1993) The photo as news, (Berger, 2010) Modes of seeing, (Jiménez, 2018) Documentary photography, (Guarín, 2017) Visual Memory, (Cerda, H.1991) Photographic collection, (Mijáilov and Guiliarevskii 1974) Documentary analysis, (Robson, 1997) Descriptive photography, (Puyana and Barreto, 2003) History of life. Additionally, Taking as sample 10 sites recognized as Cultural Heritage of the city of Pamplona. It is investigated in the iconographic information that the obtained photographs possess their contextualization and creation of history for the reconstruction of the visual memory.
