Niveles de sensibilidad y especificidad de la escala de valoracion cualitativa del desarrollo infantil - revisada.

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: the objective of the present study was to evaluate the levels of sensitivity and specificity of the qualitative assessment scale of the development-review.. METHODS: correlational study under the paradigmatic assumptions of quantitative research, through the analysis of the ROC curve. RESULTS: 69 children aged between 3 and 4 years 11 months were evaluated in response to the hypothesis of the study: the qualitative assessment scale of the child-revised development EVCDI-R presents low levels of sensitivity and specificity. ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION: it was determined that the scale of qualitative assessment of the child-revised development EVCDI-R has better levels of sensitivity, being more useful in determining the degree of deterioration of the development processes, compared to the test for the auditory comprehension of the language TECAL with greater specificity and greater utility in separating healthy subjects from patients. CONCLUSIONS: it is necessary to conduct a case-control study separating healthy subjects from patients to adequately measure the validity of the test.
