Abstract

The present project consisted of a redistribution of plant for FRIGORÍFICO VILLANUEVA SA, which was born from the need to comply with the requirements that the MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL PROTECTION requires through INVIMA, set out in DECREE 1500 of 2007, which is Modified by RESOLUTION 240 of 2013, which establishes the sanitary requirements for the operation of the animal benefit plants. The steps that were taken into account in this project are as follows: as a first step, the current state of the refrigerator's facilities was analyzed through a descriptive investigation and a diagnosis was made of the shortcomings that were corrected according to the previous decree. Once the analysis of the current state was done, we proceeded to the creation of plans that would allow us to know how the plant was distributed, and the process diagrams and routes from the point of entry of the cattle to the exit of the channels for distribution. The factors of the machinery were then evaluated in relation to the operators in charge of these. To improve the redistribution of the plant was implemented the SLP method that was an organized way to carry out a plant distribution and as a last resort proceeded to identify areas or activities that were not complying with RESOLUTION 240 of 2013 in the design theme And construction, thus generating a solution in the redistribution of the refrigerator, which was socialized with the manager and the engineer in charge of the slaughter process, in order to correct details of the project.
