Gramalote: reconstruyendo cultura, memoria e identidad a través del podcast como herramienta de visibilización.

Abstract

This research was developed as the basis for the production of the podcast series 'Gramalote: Rebuilding culture, memory and identity' in that sense allows exploring the characteristics of the communication problem where it was found that the inhabitants of the municipality have been struggling since the environmental tragedy of 2010 and the geographical resettlement since 2016 to transmit to the new generations the value of their traditions, dynamics of coexistence and celebrations, finding that there is a considerable gap between the testimonies and experiences of older people and the interest of listening or participating of the younger ones. This document also presents the theoretical bases around the themes of culture, identity, historical memory and cultural communication with representative authors that allow contextualizing with their contributions how these elements integrate and configure the sense of belonging of the community. In fact, with the development of the sound production resulting from the research, a journey through stories that are part of the Gramalotera identity is offered, revealing the character, values and expectations of its inhabitants. This podcast series is also an invitation to understand that the present is the result of yesterday and that children, teenagers and young adults require cultural digital products and narratives, aligned with their favorite formats and platforms, that help them to know the relevance of the memories of Gramalote to begin to link with their enjoyment and preservation.
