Abstract

This project aims to propose the urban renovation of the river pier from El Banco Magdalena, by means of a design of recreational, tourist and commercial jetty, located in the whole channel of the Magdalena River, taking into account two fundamental aspects as they are, That El Banco is one of the 16 most important ports in the country belonging to the Magdalena River and that it is the National Festival of La Cumbia, which is the cultural heritage of the nation. At the same time, considering the problem that arises in terms of the high flood threat present in the municipality, for which reason the regulations of the municipality the Basic land use plan are adopted, for the relocation of vulnerable housing, the design of a riparian deflector and the protection of the water round. Theories and concepts such as Topophilia, Anamnesis and Biophilia are adopted for its design, achieving a renewal from the history and generating spaces of appropriation of the user with the environment
