Abstract

Portfolio management is one of the most important processes for a Cooperative, it must be aligned and soaked with the other departments and must provide real and updated information on the status of each of the accounts receivable. In the work a manual of procedures regarding the portfolio area is made to serve as a basis for those involved in the process. There is no documented procedures manual in the cooperative. The absence of this manual has led to errors in the way of classifying credits, interests, clients, etc; This situation is mainly caused by the lack of control, the lack of continuous monitoring of debtors and the gaps due to non-compliance with regulations. This manual will help the cooperative to the correct control in the process and to each of its procedures and improve the efficiency in each of its processes.
