Análisis ABC del inventario de material médico quirúrgicos y medicamentos de la E.S.E Hospital Integrado San Juan de Cimitarra del área de hospitalización y urgencias.

Abstract

In this practice in the integrated Hospital San Juan of Cimitarra after seeing the need to know the actual consumption of medicines and medical surgical material, it was decided perform an ABC inventory analysis of medical surgical material and medicines used in the area of hospitalization and emergency room. The hospital does not have actual and updated data on inventories and for than reason it makes difficult the decision making. The ABC analysis was developed from three perspectives, based on data for the first quarter of 2017 ; the first the unit price which yielded the products whit highest unit value, is where most of the spending in concentrated; the second is the value of use and which are the most used products in the area of hospitalization and emergency and with this determine the products than require a good stock of inventory and finally the total value of the inventory than allowed to know the real value with which it is counted. This analysis allowed to determine the products that require greater control, the products of greater consumption and the products that possess a greater value in the inventory. With the analysis was sought provides the integrated Hospital San Juan of Cimitarra a tool based on real data for decision making.
