La Inteligencia Artificial en la Narrativa Visual: Recuperación de la Memoria Histórica de Pamplona.

Abstract

This essay analyses how artificial intelligence is changing the way Pamplona's historical memory is preserved. It explains that AI can restore old images and give them new meaning, helping to connect people with their past in a more interactive and exciting way. Furthermore, it is mentioned that these tools not only preserve visual heritage, but also allow communities to actively participate in the construction of their history. However, it is also warned that relying too much on technology can be dangerous, as it could distort memories and restore the human touch that gives them their true value. Therefore, this text insists on the importance of combining technology with people's interpretation, in order to maintain the authenticity of historical narratives. Finally, this document highlights how AI can revolutionise the teaching of history, making learning about the past more dynamic and meaningful. In summary, it is concluded that, well used, artificial intelligence can be a great ally to preserve Pamplona's cultural identity and project it into the future.
