    Abstract: The company Porcinos de Sucre SAS "PorkSucre" dedicated to the breeding and sale of pigs as its main activity, together with the sale of semen and artificial insemination services, seeks to strengthen the pig sector within the department. The business internship aims to provide technical support in the different zootechnical management activities within pig production at the PorkSucre farm in Sincelejo Sucre, which has different offices within the department, such as the V&C office in the municipality of Coveñas. Among the functions to be carried out are: accompaniment to the daily tasks of the pig production system, the supply of food to the pigs according to their physiological stage, the performance of zootechnical management in piglets, the accompaniment in the reproductive management in pigs (boars and reproductive females), assist the tasks of the maternity area, with special care for the days of delivery, support the sanitary management of the pigs, the collection of productive data, among others in order to acquire experience and reinforce the theoretical training, under the tutoring of professionals who are experts in the subject and who are part of said company.
    Description: La empresa Porcinos de Sucre SAS “PorkSucre” dedicada a la cría y venta de ganado porcino como actividad principal junto con la venta de semen y servicios de inseminación artificial con el objetivo de fortalecer el sector porcicola en el departamento. La pasantía empresarial tiene como objetivo brindar apoyo técnico en las diferentes actividades de manejo zootécnico dentro de la producción porcina en la granja PorkSucre ubicada en Sincelejo Sucre la cual cuenta con diferentes sedes dentro del departamento como es el caso de la sede V&C en el municipio de Coveñas. Entre las funciones que se realizaron se encontraban: acompañamiento a las labores diarias del sistema de producción porcino, el suministro de alimento a los porcinos según su etapa fisiológica, la realización del manejo zootécnico en lechones, el acompañamiento en el manejo reproductivo en porcinos (verracos y hembras reproductoras), asistir las labores del área de maternidad, con especial cuidado para los días de parto, apoyar el manejo sanitario de los porcinos, la toma de datos productivos, entre otras con el fin de adquirir experiencia y reforzar la formación teórica, bajo la tutoría de profesionales expertos en el tema y que hacen parte de dicha empresa.
