“Movimiento Inteligente” percepción social del rap como expresión cultural en el barrio Patio Centro de Los Patios, Norte de Santander.

Abstract

In the neighborhood Patio Center of the municipality of Los Patios there is a growth of Rap as a musical genre. In that context is the group Zulu Nation Chapter East Andean, who work as artists, cultists and educators. However, in the community where they develop their work there is a discrepancy around the cultural acceptance of their compositions and lyrics. In this sense, the objective of the project is to make the perception of the inhabitants in front of the subject visible through a web series of 8 episodes. The methodology is characterized by being a field study with a descriptive qualitative approach with the application of interviews and opinion polling a information collection instruments, which have a dual purpose because on the one hand they allow structuring the research document and for the other enjoys journalistic interest to develop audiovis al production. Among the results it is highlighted that in the Barrio Patio Centro there is a growing knowledge about this phenomenon and with the passing of time the acceptance has been progressive, building the opportunity to experience how their songs and activities contribute to the local cultural dynamics.
