Elaboración del catastro de redes de acueducto y alcantarillado implementando sistemas de información geográfica en el municipio de Mutiscua, Norte de Santander.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce a cadastre of aqueduc and sewerage networks by implementing a Geographic Information System (Arcgis) in the municipality of Mutiscua, Norte de Santander. A fieldwork was carried out, which included surveying and gathering information on the characteristics and status of each element of the networks; on the other hand, the routes of the drinking water and waste water networks of the municipality are carried out; with the help of the software Autocad Civil 3D to later make its georeferencing export them to Arcgis, where they will also serve as a quick reference tool. The data collected on the cadastre of the networks are then tabulated by making the respective percentage determination and the comparative analysis with what is required by the legislation in force. Finally, using the information collected, the simulation and analysis of the functioning of the aqueduct system in the EPANET software and of the sewerage system in the SWMM software is carried out. Taking into account the results obtained from field information and the simulation of the networks, some recommendations are made in line with current legislation, to help optimise the functioning of the systems and maintain the well-being of the community.
