Correlación entre filosofía y biología: Una mirada interdisciplinaria en la construcción del conocimiento humano.

Abstract

This monograph explores the autopoietic theory of biologists and philosophers Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela with the objective of understanding how autopoiesis influences the experiential domain of structural plasticity from the constructivist processes of knowledge, learning and behavior as biological phenomena?; exploring conceptual tools from the biology of knowledge. The methodology of the work had a qualitative, analytical approach to the most important documents that define the concept of autopoiesis. The results obtained allow defining in the first chapter knowledge as a biological phenomenon, relational, emergent, subjective and non-transferable, since it is embodied in the internal structure of each human being. The second chapter demonstrates the indissoluble relationship between the two disciplines in order to understand the nature of the human being. The third chapter demonstrates the biological faculties of structural plasticity from the internal dynamics of living beings allowing adaptation, conservation, self-organization and self-construction, thanks to the mastery of experiences and the biological faculties of the nervous system, through experience, learning and communication in interactions with the environment. The findings transform the way of seeing and understanding the human being, leaving aside the traditional positions that define knowledge as an objective representation of the external world to focus on the internal and structural dynamics of organisms, thus achieving a holistic individual and social vision of the human being, becoming a theory applicable in various areas of knowledge, such as education, sociology and neurobiology
