Abstract

This work refers to the implementation of a systematic tool, in order to improve the process of time alerts in water concessions of the water resource project of Corpochivor, the regional autonomous corporation of Chivor, is a corporation that focuses on the conservation and recovery of the environment, in its projects we can find the project of administration and proper management of water resources, which presents time delays in the granting of water concessions; To reach this end, a diagnosis of its process and the application of interviews were made to find the causes of its delays, finding that this project has no control or time management, being the cause of its delays, therefore we proceeded to conduct a study of times to define the time required by each professional, creating a tool through Microsoft Excel, which generates alerts to the professional in charge in order to warn its early expiration and that this is achieved in the stipulated time, Similarly, an internal benchmarking study was carried out to evaluate the different projects of the corporation and design indicators, which were very useful to compare the process of granting water concessions when this tool was implemented, and a final interview was conducted with the professionals to evaluate their before and after with respect to the implementation of this tool.
