Abstract

This report is made based on the management of assets in the company CENSGrupo EPM in which the professional practices were carried out. Enterprise asset management is the discipline that seeks to manage the entire life cycle of an organization's physical assets in order to maximize their value. It covers processes such as the design, construction, operation, maintenance and replacement of assets and infrastructures. Asset management has become a priority for industrial companies to guarantee and maintain the good condition of the productivity levels of the machines, it is essential to transform these preventive actions into competitive advantages over the competition. Asset management requires a complete system that obtains financial information and technical information; Previously, there was the JDE EDWARDS system that could only record financial information, which is functional and who at this time is the one who obtains the information on the assets until December 2022, in 2021 a system called EAM-MAXIMO was implemented in which at the moment it is not fully functional since it still does not have all the information, it is in alignment with the database since it must integrate information from various applications that do not have an interface with each other; Therefore, all the information must be registered manually (one by one), at the moment it is not fully functional, therefore we proceed to the population of data already registered in JDE EDWARDS and the new assets. Now there are about 7,000 old assets registered in the JDE EDWARDS system, it is a process of great dedication and care when passing on the information. It is intended that in December all the assets will be populated in EAM-MAXIMO, since the JDE EDWARS system is terminated and all information is deleted.
