Aplicación del diagnóstico Rural Participativo a 25 agricultores pertenecientes a la Asociación de Productores Agropecuarios “ASOPA” en el Valle del Guamuez Putumayo.

Abstract

The producers of the Valle del Guamuez Putumayo municipality today present the need for a contribution to change starting from the cultural aspect, that is, from the perception of how the productive lines are conceived from the homes since this situation implies that they do not generate sustainability to long term, due to the fact that they cannot be conceived as family businesses, which implies the need to carry out procedures and develop activities that allow them to organize their productive systems in some way, for which it is considered of great importance to implement actions to through rural extension models, among which is the Participatory Rural Diagnosis DRP, which allows the actors involved to work on their own diagnosis, to share experiences and from there contribute to the construction of alternatives that allow them to observe changes within of the production unit, conceived as a system that integrates egra the social, the economic and the environmental. In this sense, from this business practice work and in order to contribute to finding solutions to this deficiency in the organization processes, a characterization was carried out where a sample of 25 producers belonging to ASOPA "Association of Agricultural Producers" was taken. where through the realization of a series of participatory activities and visits to each of their farms, the diagnosis of the situation in which each farmer was found was carried out with whom, through practices such as self-analysis and self-determination, each one of the participants contributed to the construction of guidelines that tend to strengthen their production systems by making efficient use of the resources available to each producer within their production unit and, on the other hand, allowed the actors to identify other possibilities or ways of managing resources that help them improve the efficient management of the production unit.
