Abstract

The present monographic work entitled "Role of the physiotherapist in the application of the risk matrix. Biomechanical Classification" aims to identify the role of the physiotherapist in the general occupational health and safety system at the level of the application of the risk matrix within the biomechanical risk classification, which shows an introspection between the profession and the biomechanical risk with emphasis on ergonomics within the field of work, where the physiotherapist is a fundamental member within the multidisciplinary un it responsible for the occupational health of the working population. In the same way, it specifies the professional actions that the physiotherapist develops in the work environment as regards the elaboration of the risk matrix, the identification of dangers and its action in the prevention of occupational diseases at the musculoskeletal level in which ergonomics and the promotion of healthy habits are immersed.
