Abstract

This monograph addresses one of the most widespread thinkers of the acting era: Byung-Chul Han, who problematizes what for him is configured as the society of performance, society that is opposed to the one described by Michel Foucault as the disciplinary society. Psychopower and Psychopolitics, biopower and biopolitics, shape the forms of political power and the techniques and technological devices that mark the course of control in these societies. In this sense, the relationship that exists between the characteristics of the economic system, the relations of production, the configuration of intersubjectivity and the relationship of the subjects with technology is addressed. This work is developed through dogmatic research that poses a critical analysis of the author’s discourse problematizing some of his approaches and expanding some of his explanations and other relevant categories.
