    Abstract: Establish postural characteristics in children in first grade. Methodology: Cross-sectional descriptive study developed in a sample of 40 first graders, who were photogrammetry, in the previous, lateral plane, and later, which was tested by the parents and analyzed by the Kinovea software, to determine alignment situation, based on the anatomical positions considered in the literature, as techniques for characterizing posture. For the processing and analysis of information, the data were entered in an income format and analyzed with a statistical program. For the descriptive analysis, frequency and percentage tables were built that allowed to visualize the distribution of the responses in each category (sex). In the case of quantitative variables (age, size, weight, difference in the postural alignment of the groups) central trend and dispersion measures will be obtained. Conclusion: The information obtained is intended to generate a baseline with information on the postural situation of minors and whether it is the case to facilitate the generation of primary intervention strategies in the school context for the promotion of postural hygiene and the prevention of postural disturbances student population.
