    Abstract: INTRODUCTION: The objective of the study is to identify risk factors in the hearing and language development and risks of lags in the areas of human development in children aged 3 to 7 years, by applying the VALE instrument and the EAD-3, in order to determine their relationship and description of the crossing with variables of a sociodemographic nature. METHODS: The participants were healthy children attending the Hospital of the Sarare E.S.E. The sample was non-probabilistic. RESULTS: There is evidence of a relationship between the expression and vestibular dimensions with the gross motor area. Likewise, statistical relationship between the interaction dimension and the total VALE with the Personal social area. ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION: The partial correlation between risk factors for hearing linguistic development and developmental lags establishes a statistically significant and positive linear association. CONCLUSIONS: There is presence of multiple relationship aspects of the global development of children with dimensions of hearing and linguistic development.
    Description: INTRODUCCIÓN: El objetivo del estudio es identificar factores de riesgo en el desarrollo auditivo y de lenguaje, y riesgos de rezagos en las áreas del desarrollo del ser humano en niños de 3 a 7 años, mediante la aplicación del instrumento VALE y la EAD-3, con el fin de determinar su relación y la descripción del cruce con variables de carácter sociodemográfico. MÉTODOS: Los participantes fueron niños sanos asistentes al Hospital del Sarare E.S.E. La muestra fue de tipo no probabilística. RESULTADOS: Se evidencia relación entre la dimensión expresión y vestibular con el área motricidad gruesa. Igualmente, relación estadística entre la dimensión interacción y el Total VALE con el área Personal-social. ANÁLISIS Y DISCUSIÓN: La correlación parcial entre factores de riesgo del desarrollo auditivo-lingüístico y los riesgos de rezagos en el desarrollo establece asociación lineal estadísticamente significativa y positiva. CONCLUSIONES: Existe presencia de aspectos de múltiple relación del desarrollo global infantil con dimensiones del desarrollo auditivo-lingüístico.
