Colelitiasis acompañado de un complejo hiperplasia quística endometrial-mucometra en una hembra de raza pinscher miniatura.

Abstract

The veterinary clinic Animalcenter received a female miniature Pinscher of eight years old as a whole, with a weight of 2 kg, vaccination and deworming plan in force, with clinical history of decay, anorexia, emesis and choluria. In the physical examination were found physiological constants in the normal range, mucous icteric and pain to the abdominal palpation. Diagnostic tests were performed such as hemogram, CHEM 15 (glucose, creatinine, BUN, phosphorus, calcium, total proteins, albumin, globulin, ALT, ALP, GGT, total bilirubin, cholesterol), abdominal ultrasound and urinalysis. The hemoleucogram showed elevated hematocrit and polycythemia, due to dehydration, leukocytosis with neutrophilia and lymphopenia, biochemicals showed an increase in hepatic enzymes, structure, function and bile flow. The ultrasound showed acoustic shadow in hyperecogenic gallbladder compatible with cholelithiasis and the uterus was distended with homogeneous anechoic content, the urinalysis showed presence of bilirubin, ascorbic acid and protein in urine with an urinary density greater than 1050. The diagnosis for extrahepatic damage according to the anamnesis and the diagnostic tests was cholelithiasis accompanied by an anomaly of the reproductive tract of cystic endometrial hyperplasia-mucometra, for this reason was necessary to performed an ovariohysterectomy, after the surgery the canine was established in an intrahospital antibiotherapy, consisted of ampicillin + Sulbactan 10mg/kg EV and enrofloxacin to 5 mg/kg EV, analgesia with Buscapina to 28 mg/kg EV, gastric mucosal protector Omeprazole 0.7 mg/kg IV, Vitamin C 40 mg/kg, Oral

treatment was continued with Enrofloxacin 5 mg/kg, Ursacol® 15 mg/kg and Heppel® tablets presenting improvement in treatment.
