Abstract

The present work deals with the design and implementation of a collection system, which seeks to improve the collection process in the Portfolio Unit of the Educational Center of COMFAORIENTE. Complying with one of the objectives of the professional practice, of leaving implemented in the company where it is carried out, an improvement plan. Within this work there were shortcomings in the significant loss of time in the crossing of information, frequent and significant non-compliance by parents of families with the timely payment of pensions and significant differences between the book balance and the account Banking, since the report that brings audit does not coincide with the report given by the Educational Center of COMFAORIENTE.

The final result of the improvement plan proposal was to generate, through two applications, a collection design, where a database of students was compiled and through this, each grade offered is tracked, where each payment can be entered. and visualize the detail of each subscription. At the same time they show the respective managements that have been made for those students who have the past due portfolio and those who still have to overcome, without modifying any of the policies that the Educational Center of COMFAORIENTE has and that was socialized and implemented with the authorization of the rector Nelson Eduardo Ramón Moreno of the Educational Center.
