Técnicas y procedimientos de diagnóstico mediante telesalud en fonoaudiología.

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Telehealth has progressed over time, due to the increase of technological resources. The objective of this research is to identify the diagnostic techniques and procedures that have been developed in each of the areas of speech therapy in the last 5 years. METHODS: A systematic review of the literature was carried out; 20 articles met the inclusion criteria, extracting from each of these the different techniques and procedures of phonoaudiological diagnosis used through telehealth. RESULTS: The areas of phonoaudiology with the most scientific evidence are hearing and oral pharyngeal function in the field of dysphagia; however, articles were found in the areas of language, voice and speech. ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION: The evidence found affirms that telehealth services are equivalent to face-to-face services and that there should be no distinction between them. CONCLUSIONS: The telehealth model is a strategy in line with the current demands of the health system, which demands an effort on the part of professionals in order to develop diagnostic techniques and procedures through each of its modalities.
