    Resumen : The National Open and Distance University, is an entity committed to the educational needs of the Colombian population that with its virtual and remote modality manages to cover almost the majority of the national territory in a fast, inclusive and accessible way for all. Over time it has been gaining strength in the development of its methodology being recognized as the pioneer university in the evolution of Colombian education. During the development of the following document, the functionality of the same, its corporate name, its goals as an educational entity, its values and principles and everything related to its operational methodology will be made known in greater depth. In addition, the diagnosis made to each of the functional areas of the university can be visualized through the application of matrixes for the evaluation of factors that may affect it positively or negatively at the internal and external levels. From this we can find the proposal of a proposal model aimed at improving the marketing area of the university, highlighting the importance of its implementation, which are those objectives to be met, the dates established in the schedule to carry out the activities in order to achieve each of the proposed goals. Each of these strategies will be defined and detailed in depth, in order to publicize the benefits that will be granted and the steps to be taken when they are implemented at the National Open and Distance University. When finalizing the document, a series of conclusions and recommendations will be included, from the evaluation of results that will be carried out in order to determine the benefits that were obtained in the university with the implementation of the improvement proposal and in addition to it All images, videos and references will be attached as evidence support for the development of the proposal.
