Abstract

This research responds to the research question of how to improve the offer and variety of products made in natural wicker and yaré fiber of the Reyzon-Ebenezer workshop of the wicker artisan Reinaldo Soto, located in the municipality of Villa del Rosario Norte de Santander, which It is responded to through the objectives set at the beginning of the project, the number of our own natural fiber products was increased, the characteristics and perception of natural fiber products were improved through the Modesar furniture set line to be located in the living room space. The research was carried out based on the applied methodology, obtaining real information on the manufacturing process of the natural fiber furniture made by the craftsman in the mill, with a mixed approach, obtaining qualitative and quantitative data, thus acquiring a differentiating factor in the craftsman's workshop. with the characteristics of the new line of furniture with a fusion between contemporary shapes and artisan craftsmanship through wicker and yaré weaving techniques.
