Abstract

The work „Concert Piece Op. 12‟ by Vassily Brandt is relevant within the current trumpet repertoire. Certain technical and expressive requirements highlight the importance of its composition that must be studied for its proper interpretation.

The foregoing creates a challenge against the technical and expressive requirements required by the performer who urges the necessary analysis of its structure focused on formal aspects - of harmony and melody - highlighting the possible technical difficulties of interpretation and execution of this work.

In accordance with the above, the objective of this work is to carry out a musical analysis identifying the technical difficulties and possible interpretation solutions of the work "Concert Piece Op. 12" by Vassily Brandt, facilitating the performer's understanding of the work and consequently, an adequate interpretation.

On the other hand, the essay is complemented in the final section with a section in which a brief synthesis or description about the composers and the works proposed to be performed in the grade recital is captured.
