Abstract: | The present work is carried out from a triggering story on the subject of Child Abandonment that leaves sequels of different order in the designer. From there, the topic is expanded and other similar stories (10) are collected that speak of the same problem, in the municipality of Tauramena, department of Arauca in northeastern Colombia. The purpose of this Field Work (TC) work is to serve as a reservoir of aesthetic experiences (of the other) so that they serve as motivators of artistic experiences (by the artist), brought to the event in the definitive form of Video Performance (VPF) . This process, which you definitely want to provoke as a cathartic experience (change / pain), and as an exercise in introspection (looking at yourself / inside). At the same time, the methodology with which the VPFs are carried out is mainly taken from that proposed by the artist of the 60s, Allan Kaprow: trying to forget the standardized forms of art, raising the situations of a happening (performance for this purpose) using what is trapped in the real world (the stories vs. the place), trying to find in real time making things happen in real places, avoiding the theatrical structure, and although avoiding the rehearsal; causing successive or obsessive repetitions. Repetitions, in the sense of Deleuze for which "To repeat is to behave, but with respect to something unique or singular ...". In short, the model of this work wants to be assimilated to that of the so-called More Creation Research, which the Colombian Ministry of Science has tried to establish, tentatively, to be able to put artistic research works into its system as effective generators of knowledge. |
