Abstract: Faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is currently an innovative therapy to restore the intestinal microbiota in veterinary medicine. This procedure consists of the transfaunation of the intestinal microbiome from a healthy donor to a susceptible recipient, with the aim of reducing the severity of the disease through the disappearance of clinical symptomatology and contributes to the repopulation of the microbiome. It is indicated as an adjuvant in acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders, as therapy in enteropathies that do not respond to conventional treatments, and also in the resolution of atopic dermatitis (AD). The above is related to the ability of the microbiome to maintain the functional and structural integrity of the digestive system and in the regulation of the immune system, providing nutritional benefits to the host. We report a case of an adult feline patient aged two years and nine months, who was admitted for consultation with symptoms of inappetence and lethargy of 48 hours of evolution, nausea and outdated sanitary plan. Anigen rapid CPV Ag Test from the BioNote laboratory was performed and was positive for feline panleukopenia. Conventional treatment was started along with faecal microbiome transplantation. The patient responded favourably to treatment, optimising his quality of life.
