Abstract

This work reviews, through descriptive and qualitative research, with a documentary and legal analysis and the collection of data with officials of children and adolescents, the special protection that is owed to children and adolescents who are victims of the internal armed conflict, the guidelines, their actions and the progress that has been made. have had since 2016 for this population, making clear the function of the ICBF as the most important entity in Colombia in the protection of children and adolescents and other entities, without forgetting the review of the legislation and its efficiency, for which the specific legislation was inspected trying to understand the actions of the authorities, the fulfillment of their functions and especially to know if in Norte de Santander where there are municipalities such as Tibú highly compromised by the armed conflict and Cúcuta because it is a border area if there is progress that has brought a decent quality of life to these NNA.
