Proceso Educativo de Niños Venezolanos Escolarizados en el Barrio La Parada: Fotorreportaje.

Abstract

The objective of this degree work is to make visible, through photoreportage, the impact of education on Venezuelan migrant children enrolled in school in Colombia. The study focuses on the Mega Colegio La Frontera, located in the neighborhood of La Parada, in Villa del Rosario, PROCESO EDUCATIVO DE NIÑOS VENEZOLANOS EN LA PARADA 3 Norte de Santander, where about 80% of the student population are migrants from the neighboring country. These children cross the border daily by school bus, personal transportation or on foot to access education. This work seeks to highlight the cultural diversity and skills that migrant students bring to their educational community, challenging stereotypes and promoting a positive perception of their presence in the classroom. Furthermore, the aim is to communicate in an impactful way the reality of these migrant children and call for the implementation of inclusive policies and practices in the educational field. The photo report is made up of a series of 10 photographs titled "Classroom without Borders: Photographs of Development", which captures the daily effort and perseverance of migrant children to access education in an environment with numerous limitations, difficulties and dangers. This work not only documents the reality of the La Frontera mega School, but also highlights the importance of education as a crucial tool for the development and progress of these Venezuelan children.
