Abstract

This essay focuses on an investigation based on the musical analysis of Symphony No. 2 BWV 788 by Johann Sebastian Bach with the aim of understanding its impact on musical interpretation and also on musical teaching. The importance of the study of inventions and symphonies has a relevant meaning both in teaching and in musical learning, which occurred through the review of the background, carrying out access to information that reveals important aspects in the life and work of Bach, as well as its composition. The information collection methods were based on reading magazines, essays and articles. As well as secondary sources such as explanatory videos, analyzes and articles. Johann Sebastian Bach's purpose behind the creation of Symphony No 2 can be inferred, understanding the composer's intention to have a deeper vision of the work, as well as a richer appreciation of its artistic expression, this understanding contributes to the recognition and the didactic importance of the inventions, as well as the piano enrichment, having a pedagogical contribution in terms of musical education.
