Abstract

This project aims to contribute to improving the work of small farmers in the planting stage of grass crops such as rice through design, providing them with tools that improve their grass seed planting activities, in terms of planting times, reduction of risks due to poor handling of inadequate postural loads, and the possible reduction of expenses in the maintenance and planting of gramineous crops. Some of these problems arise from the lack of low-cost, high-quality tools on the market that are accessible to farmers with low purchasing power or little technical knowledge. And keeping in mind that crops such as rice are grown not for profit, but for barter within the community or the subsistence of the farm or family, they are usually done by traditional means such as planting with a chuzo on stubble, on land that they have not been plowed or cleared or removed, which prevents the use of the tools currently offered by the market to small farmers.
