Arquitectura para sanar: relación entre la naturaleza y el espacio como estrategia para el Diseño Arquitectónico del Complejo Hospitalario Inundable en la subregión del Magdalena Medio, Colombia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research thesis is to propose the first Hospital Complex in the middle Magdalena region, which aims not only to meet the public health needs of the urban headwaters but also of the scattered population centers, villages and townships that are bathed by the Magdalena River, where 42% of the total population resides. The design of the first floodable hospital complex for the riverside areas of the Magdalena River was born with the purpose of closing the gap in public health that is experienced on the banks of the most important river in Colombia. Generating through the Subregion of the Tocca (San Pablo south of Bolivar, Cantagallo, Puerto Wilches, Yondo, Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres and Cimitarra) that value through the Memory, the landscape and the relationship between the environment and Nature, in order to weave a network of opportunities which through the River are recovered and new ways of generating Healing are proposed.
