Sound wave el arte de escuchar.

Abstract

Art is the evidence that we live on this planet and as artista, trying to lead people to understand the world around them in a more sensitive way. However, while I try to find a sense or meaning for what sound is, it begins to become something more distorted and the perspective that each person has about this, it is different and also, how can exist a sound if there is no one to listen to it?. This question arises, since I came to the conclusion that silence is not the absence of a sound, but the absence of a listener. Interpret, listener, sound and image are the fundamental key for my work of art and this necessity comes from the fact that we have become machines, in other words, insensitive beings. We experience sounds frequently and the world as we hear it today has countless voices that are invisible to our eyes, that is why it is inevitably and unconsciously as human beings we are connected to a line of acoustic signals without contiguous reference to the image, even so, the importance we give to these, it is minimal, we get so used to hearing that we forget to listen. In our human nature there is something that is always alive in us, and it is curiosity, and it is precisely this that I want to awaken in the viewer, my work will show a way of seeing and feeling sound.
