| es_CO |
dc.description.abstract | To the Veterinary clinic of Small Animals Dres Reyes, a feline patient of Creole race and 3 years of age, with a live weight of 5 kg, arrived who presented a wound with slight bleeding in the right back member, the owner reported that I had lost for two days previously. On physical examination the animal was alert, without pain to abdominal palpation, pink and moist mucous membranes. In the abdominal ecofast no alteration of the quadrants evaluated was evident, the patient presented an open wound with moderate bleeding in the medial part of the right posterior limb. Complementary tests were performed including hemoleukogram (CH), (ALT), creatinine and albumin, for which the ranges were normal. The patient was admitted to the operating room and under general anesthesia the correction of the wound was performed, reliving and confronting the edges of the wound with monofilament and non-absorbable suture (prolene) days after this, tissue necrosis was found, where the tissue had to be removed. necrotized tissue and replace it with a tilapia skin graft, which showed a good resolution of the wound, and treatment with phytostimulin was initiated to increase healing. | es_CO |
