Parameros: prácticas culturales de los campesinos del Páramo de Santurbán.

Abstract

The paramos are one of the most important ecosystems for human survival, this is due to the water supply they offer and their ecosystem services. However, whenever there is talk of the environment, especially in audiovisual productions, products are developed from the preservation, nature and species of fauna and flora of the biomes, but little is shown about the inhabitants of these territories. The objective of this documentary is to show how societies develop in these paramo ecosystems, what their needs are, the cultural practices that they have been developing throughout their existence in the area and how they are affected by administrative decisions of national character.
