    dc.descriptionINTRODUCCIÓN: El objetivo de la presente investigación, describe el desempeño de adultos pertenecientes a 5 grupos étnicos en población indígena colombiana tanto en su lengua indígena (L1) como en español (L2) en la prueba de Fluidez verbal semántica. MÉTODOS: Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo cuasi experimental, descriptivo observacional de corte transversal, en 30 individuos evaluando la tarea de fluidez verbal semántica; analizando los resultados en el software estadístico SPSS, buscando relaciones entre las muestras. RESULTADOS: Entre las 5 etnias se evidencia un nivel promedio mayor en la etnia Zikuani encontrando más variabilidad de respuestas correctas, asumiendo que en las demás etnias las respuestas son relativamente iguales. ANÁLISIS Y DISCUSIÓN: De los resultados obtenidos se encuentra mayor variabilidad de respuestas correctas en L2 en comparación a la L1, pero dichos hallazgos se relacionan aproximadamente igual en el desempeño de las etnias indígenas. CONCLUSIONES: La FVS refiere ser relativamente homogénea en las 5 etnias, debido al uso frecuente de las dos lenguas relacionándolo con el contexto sociocultural de los individuos.es_CO
    dc.description.abstractINTRODUCTION: The objective of this research describes the performance of adults belonging to 5 ethnic groups in the indigenous Colombian population in both their indigenous language (L1) and Spanish (L2) in the verbal semantic fluency test. METHODS: A quantitative quasi-experimental, descriptive observational cross-sectional study was conducted in 30 individuals evaluating the semantic verbal fluency task; analyzing the results in the SPSS statistical software, looking for relationships between the samples. RESULTS: Among the 5 ethnic groups, a higher average level is evidenced in the Zikuani ethnic group, finding more variability of correct answers, assuming that in the other ethnic groups the answers are relatively equal. ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION: The results obtained show a greater variability of correct answers in L2 compared to L1, but these findings are related approximately equally in the performance of the indigenous ethnic groups. CONCLUSIONS: Semantic verbal fluency refers to being relatively homogeneous in the 5 ethnic groups, due to the frequent use of the two languages relating it to the sociocultural context of the individuals.es_CO
